I am a fifth-semester Master of Forestry and Master of Environmental Management student in the Nicholas School. I graduated from Duke in 2020 with a B.S. in Environmental Sciences, after which I spent a year volunteering with AmeriCorps across several states in different National Parks. Since returning to Duke, I have been an active member in the Duke Chapter of Society of American Foresters, serving as President in 2022. I also work for Duke Outdoor Adventures as a trip leader and climbing wall supervisor.
My Master’s Project serves the Duke Forest, researching the effect of the Emerald Ash Borer on the health of ash trees and predicting the compositional shifts that will occur post-ash mortality. Outside of school, I enjoy traveling, reading, and playing outdoor sports.
