EMSI will be held at the Renaissance Computing Institute (RENCI) at University of North Carolina Chapel Hill. It is located off-campus, in close proximity to hotels, restaurants, grocery stores, and a pharmacy. For those coming from out of town, we have a block of hotel rooms within easy walking distance, and two additional hotels are even closer to the venue.
RENCI advances data science by bringing together researchers, engineers, and specialists from across disciplines to solve complex challenges and drive positive change. Like TriCEM, RENCI partners with local universities and organizations, including Duke, NC State, and UNC Chapel Hill. Their facilities at the Europa Center, providing outstanding, modern space for lectures, breakout groups, and interaction. And, free parking!
