Hi Kate here! I am currently majoring in Economics with a finance concentration, and a minor in Computer Science. I like playing basketball, doing yoga and relaxing. I really like that Duke provides a balanced undergraduate study. Furthermore, I like that Duke students are extremely passionate about what they do. I hope SSA will continue to grow in its presence on campus. Additionally, I hope SSA will continue to create greater awareness of Singaporean culture on campus, as well as provide a platform for all students to bond and interact.

What I like about Duke: I love the diversity of people here. Everyday I meet new people that inspire me and challenge beliefs that I took for granted to be true. I also absolutely adore the professors at Duke. Every professor that I have had the privilege to learn from so far has been filled with passion for their discipline. It is very inspiring to be taught by such exceptional individuals.
What I hope SSA will achieve this year: I hope we will better integrate our International Singaporeans into SSA and involve a greater number of American students in our events.
