- What would you like the Duke community to know about Thrive Kitchen & Catering? What makes you stand out?
We truly enjoy catering fresh, delicious, healthy-focused food to the Duke and Durham community. We Thrive off creating specialty dishes for your group to make your guests/attendees feel special and well cared for. We enjoy being a part of themed events and love going the extra mile to make them pop and better present your food selections. We can handle any facet of the event planning process.
Our kitchen is located on campus and we are part of the Duke Dining Service’s team of contracted vendors. Our management team has worked in Durham and on the Duke campus for the last 20 years. We know the campus thoroughly and understand the Duke system so that we can facilitate any of your challenging catering needs.
- What is your most popular/signature dish and/or beverage you would like people to try?
Popular items for these cooler temperatures in the Fall and Winter months include the Red Wine Braised Beef Burgundy and our Vegan Rigatoni, Spiced Hot Apple Cider, and Pumpkin Tarts. Year round, our signature Protein Bowls, Stuffed Chicken, and the Biscuit Bar are all crowd pleasers!
- Do you offer event packages or is everything a la carte?
Most of our menu is a la carte, however we have put together an All Day Event and Meeting package
for groups that would include Continental Breakfast, Breaks, and Cold or Hot Lunch options. We are always willing to customize a package to meet your groups specific needs.
