As an organization that is continually growing, SEPC is comprised of professionals from across the University and Health Systems to allow you the best opportunities to grow within your role. Once your membership has been confirmed, you will receive announcements through the email account listed on your SEPC profile. We offer numerous opportunities for you to not only get connected with the Duke community but also to Durham. We provide networking opportunities both on and off campus so you can continue to expand your knowledge of places to host events, caterers, and keep a fresh perspective on how to bring new light to your role.

For membership consideration, please see below:

  • Must be a current full-time Duke employee
  • More than 30% of your responsibilities involve event planning and/or event planning support
  • Must attend no less than four (4) of eight (8) meetings per year to maintain active status
