“Consider the Conversation” Screening on December 4

Consider the ConversationDivision faculty and staff are invited to attend a screening of the film “Consider the Conversation 2: Stories About Cure, Relief, and Comfort,” at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, December 4. Tickets are free, but registration is required and space is limited. The screening will be held at the Full Frame Theatre on the American Tobacco Campus (318 Blackwell Street, Durham).

The film explores the effect of American medicine’s success on the patient/doctor relationship and sheds light on the important role communication plays in helping both patient and doctor navigate the murky waters of severe chronic disease. It features insights by James Tulsky, MD, as well as faculty from the division of Oncology, the Divinity School and other Duke organizations. A panel discussion will follow the presentation.
