On the adjacency of general dyadic grids in Euclidean spaces

Bingyang Hu, Purdue University

Abstract:

It is known that the optimal numbers of dyadic systems in R^n to guarantee the adjacency is n+1. In this talk, we wil first give a complete characterization of this phenomenon on the real line, and in the second part, we will talk about the higher dimension case. Finally, we consider the case when the bases of the dyadic grids are different. This talk is a joint work with Tess Anderson.
