Panel Session Abstract: Improving pharmaceutical R&D productivity remains a challenge. With the transition from traditional to novel trial designs and analysis methods, and the rapid evolution of AI & ML approaches, statisticians and data scientists now play a more crucial role in drug development, and their collaboration is essential for effective outcomes. In this panel session, we will discuss some of the challenges and opportunities to accelerate drug development and increase probability of success, boosting R&D productivity. Panelists will share insights, advice, and examples of implemented solutions influencing drug development as quantitative scientists.
