The Willis Lab at Duke University is located in Durham, NC, USA. Researchers in our lab are motivated by a desire to further our fundamental understanding of the evolutionary dynamics of how species are formed, the origin of reproductive isolating barriers, mechanisms by which genetic variation is maintained, and the underlying genetic architecture of adaptive traits. We employ an integrated approach, combining the use of field studies, high throughput-biotechnology, and comparative genomics in our search for answers. To learn more, please explore the links above.
