The Visualization & Interactive Systems (VIS) group is an association of Duke University faculty and staff who come together with a shared interest in data visualization and visual literacy. We come from Information Science + Studies (ISS), Data and Visualization Services (DVS) within the Duke University Libraries, the Duke immersive Virtual Environment (DiVE), Computational Media Arts & Sciences (CMAC), the Digital Humanities Institute (DHI), the WIRED Lab, and the Art, Art History and Visual Studies Department.
We run a weekly talk series during the fall and spring semesters, called the Visualization Friday Forum. Click here to see the future and past schedule of events, or follow this link to subscribe to our mailing list.
