Daniel defends!
Congratulations as well to Daniel, who on 3/28 defended his Master’s thesis focused on anthropophilic mosquito epidemiology in Western Kenya. Daniel will earn his MSc in Global Health from the Duke Global Health Institute next month!
Brandt defends!
Congratulations to Brandt, who on 3/6 successfully defended his thesis focused on the vector-borne tropical scourges of dengue virus and P. falciparum. With the help of a broadsword and Dr Seuss, Brandt will soon qualify for a PhD in Molecular Genetics and Microbiology.

Congratulations to Brandt: His first-authored manuscript reporting his method for multiplex barcoding, amplifying, and deep-sequencing parasite gene targets has just been accepted to Scientific Reports.
