New think-cell license key available

A new think-cell license key is available.  The new key will expire on 7/1/23. This software is available for use by Duke University faculty, staff, and students for Duke-related academic purposes only. The distribution or use of this key outside of Duke will result in a permanent loss of the software for the university.

think-cell is a Microsoft Office add-in which integrates seamlessly with PowerPoint and helps you to visualize complex charts like Marimekko, Gantt and waterfall within minutes.

DNASTAR Lasergene Renewed

This software is available to Duke faculty, staff, and students at no cost through OIT.

Stata/SE Licenses Renewed

We have renewed Duke’s annual Stata/SE license for the year, and the new authorization codes and installers are now available for purchase on the software distribution site here: https://software.duke.edu/node/181

If you purchased a Stata/SE license within 3 months of the expiration date, then your purchase includes a renewal license that may be used to extend the expiration date of your software until July 23, 2023. Renewal authorization codes/installers will be emailed to anyone who purchased Stata/SE within this grace period.

New Software Release: JMP Pro 16.2

JMP Pro 16.2 for Windows and macOS is now available through OIT at no cost. This is a maintenance update designed to fix identified problems with JMP Pro 16.

NVivo 12 Renewal Key Now Available

We have renewed our site license for NVivo 12. The new activation key and license information is now available on the OIT software distribution site here.

This software will expire on January 1, 2023.  NVivo software supports qualitative and mixed methods research. It lets you collect, organize, and analyze content from interviews, focus group discussions, surveys, audio, social media and web pages. With NVivo you can deeply analyze your data using powerful search, query and visualization tools.
We currently offer NVivo 12 only for Windows and macOS.
For Windows you can renew your license by going to File > Help > Manage License > Replace License
For macOS you can renew your license by going to NVivo 12 > Licensing > Replace License
NVivo software is centrally funded by Duke OIT and is available to Duke faculty, staff, and students at no cost.

GraphPad Prism Renewed

Our volume license agreement for GraphPad Prism has been renewed, and as of today, licenses purchased through OIT will expire on January 24, 2023.

If you purchased a license on or after October 24, 2021, you have been sent a renewal license at no additional cost.
