Microsoft SQL Server 2022 is now available through OIT’s software distribution site. Please visit the Microsoft SQL Server page to place an order for the software.
This product is available to all Duke IT staff at no cost, and may be installed on any number of Duke-owned computers on campus. SQL CALs are included as well. Non-IT faculty and staff at Duke may gain access to the Duke-licensed version of this product with approval from their IT departments.
Version 17.4.1 of DNASTAR’s Lasergene Structural Biology Suite is now available on the software distribution site here. This software is available to Duke faculty, staff, and students at no cost through OIT.
Version 17.4.1 includes feature enhancements/bugs fixes for version 17.4 and addresses compatibility issues between SeqBuilder Pro and MacOS Ventura.

Duke’s campus license for ARCHICAD has been renewed and the latest version, ARCHICAD 26, is now available for download at no cost to Duke faculty, staff, and students here.

Duke’s site license for Statgraphics Centurion has been renewed, and the new license will expire on June 30th, 2023.
Visit the Statgraphics page on our software site to download the latest version or get the serial number to renew the license.
To renew, simply go to help -> License Manager and press Upgrade. You will need to fill out your information and enter the serial number. Once you do this, you can request an Activation Code to be sent to you which you can use to complete the process.

Jabber Clients 14.1.2 for Windows and 14.1.2 for MacOS are now available for download on the software distribution site: https://software.duke.edu/node/95. This update addresses audio issues with the previous clients.
Duke’s annual license for IBM SPSS Statistics has been renewed, and the new licenses will expire on July 31, 2023. Renewal codes are available for versions 26 and 27 of SPSS Statistics, and new installations of SPSS 28 (64-bit only) are also available.
If you purchased an SPSS license on or after May 1, 2022, you will be sent renewal authorization codes by email that may be used to extend the expiration date of your software.
IBM SPSS Statistics Premium licenses are available for purchase through OIT for $100 per computer, per year. https://software.duke.edu/node/178
Annual licenses are not prorated, and they expire on a fixed date that does not coincide with the date of purchase or calendar year.
Duke’s MathWorks license has been renewed, and new installations of the software will expire on August 1, 2023.

Anyone with a standalone installation of version 2008a and newer can renew by launching MATLAB as an administrator and then going to Help -> Update Current Licenses and clicking Update.
Installations pointing to a license server will not be renewed until the server license is renewed. OIT Software Licensing does not manage any license servers for MATLAB.
