Duke’s MathWorks license has been renewed, and new installations of the software will expire on September 1, 2014.
Detailed renewal instructions for all versions of MATLAB, including links to license files and PLPs, can be found here: http://oit.duke.edu/comp-print/software/support/matlab.php. Anyone with a standalone installation of version 2008a and newer can renew by launching MATLAB as an administrator and then going to Help -> Update Current Licenses, and clicking Update. Installations pointing to a license server will not be renewed until the server license is renewed.
In addition to the license being renewed, the product offering has been updated. Based on a year-long survey with over 700 respondents from Duke, the 5 least-used toolboxes have been replaced with the 5 most-requested toolboxes.
