Jabber Clients 12.9.3 for Windows and 12.9.4 MacOS are now available for download on the software distribution site: https://software.duke.edu/node/95
This update addresses a security flaw in previous versions of the software.
Based on reports of a critical vulnerability found in Cisco Jabber, Duke’s IT Security Office is recommending that users download the most recent update to Jabber for Windows, MacOS and mobile platforms as soon as possible. The updates are available on Duke’s software website: https://software.duke.edu/node/95. The flaw could allow an attacker to execute programs on the underlying operating system (OS) with elevated privileges or gain access to sensitive information.
