Mathematica 8.0.1 has been released, and our site licenses (Faculty/staff and student) have been upgraded to this new version. This update includes several important fixes,so we recommend that you replace all previous installations of Mathematica 8 with this new version.
Existing Mathematica 8.0.0 users should be notified automatically of this release by Wolfram in-product and through email, and given the option to download the update through the Wolfram User Portal. Employees with a home-use license will also be sent email with instructions for obtaining this update. Mathematica 8.0.1 will not require a new activation key or password [if 8.0.0 is already installed]. Lab version users will not be notified automatically of this release.
