The JMP Academic Suite has recently been revised to include new products. Although JMP for Linux has been phased out, JMP Pro and SAS Simulation Studio have been added to the agreement.
Announcing JMP Pro: Statistical discovery software that contains everything in JMP 9, plus advanced analytic techniques for data mining and predictive modeling. JMP Pro is for 64-bit operating systems (Windows & Mac) and will replace JMP standard for 64-bit OS’. The SAS Simulation Studio for JMP is also a new addition to our JMP license. It is an add-on to JMP software for conducting discrete-event simulation, which enables you to model, analyze and understand complex real-life systems and processes. It lets you model complex systems that ordinarily would be difficult to model using traditional analytical techniques. And it integrates with other SAS products. It can be downloaded at the JMP Download Page. (Note: The documentation is somewhat outdated in the package. It is all written with references to JMP 8, but according to SAS analysts, one should be able to use it with JMP/JMP Pro 9 if the 9.0.1 patch is installed.)
