Dr. Lihua Wang, joined Dr. Sipkins’ lab as a research scientist in August 2023. She received her Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from Cornell University in 2017. Her focus is on studying the role of PI3K and integrin alpha 6 signaling in acute lymphoblastic leukemia using preclinical in vitro and in vivo mouse models, as well as primary patient samples. She will also screen human monoclonal antibodies against integrin alpha 6 for functional blocking activity in vitro and in vivo in mouse models of metastatic breast cells.
