Dr. Eun Joo Kang, M.D., Ph.D. joined the Sipkins Lab as a Visiting Professor in March 2022. She is an associate professor at Korea University College of Medicine and a medical oncologist at Korea University Guro Hospital. She treats patients with lung cancer, head and neck cancer, sarcoma and melanoma in her clinic and her main research interests are in mechanisms of brain metastases in solid tumors and the development of therapeutics. She joins the lab to do basic and translational researches on the mechanisms of brain metastasis of solid tumors.
