Venice: “Then and Now”
This Augmented Reality of the Ughi Map in the Rubenstein allows users to experience Venice past and present. Each of the sixteen vignettes, similar to postcards today, offer the opportunity to compare each engraved representation with a modern-day photograph. In addition, many of the vignettes feature 360 degree photography taken on site, and two vignettes (Rialto Bridge and Piazza San Marco) showcase elaborate 3D models.
