Hi, Pre-PT! Please see the message below about the MASSAGE NIGHT TONIGHT in Blackwell South Common Room… we’d love for you to come out and help, or check out PT for the first time!
As part of the Neighborhood 4 Career Exploration Series, several members of Duke’s Pre-PT Association and Duke DPT students will be speaking about PT as a profession and giving short massages TOMORROW WEDNESDAY 10/12 at 7:30 in the south Blackwell common room. Anyone interested in learning about PT (or getting a massage) is invited.
And as if that weren’t enough incentive to come, pizza will be provided for attendees.
What is PT? Via Wikipedia: “Physical therapy (or physiotherapy), often abbreviated PT , is a health care profession. Physical therapy is concerned with identifying and maximizing quality of life and movement potential within the spheres of promotion, prevention, diagnosis, treatment/intervention,and rehabilitation. This encompasses physical, psychological, emotional, and social well being.”
