How to obtain your parking-permit:
Students who wish to park on campus must register for a parking permit directly from the parking office (online, process below). Your training grant/fellowship will not cover the cost of parking. The parking option available to new graduate students is the Science Drive Garage. Visit their website for more information (Student Permits). Each permit is valid for one year, and must be renewed each year if you wish to maintain your permit. Once you have registered, the parking office will mail you your new permit.
NOTE: If you decide NOT to purchase a parking permit, you are still eligible for an “After-Hours Permit” that allows you to park on campus evenings and weekends. You can read more here: After-Hours Permit (Night Permit).
