Interviewer: is there anything that you’re worried will get lost in the narratives that are collected from reproductive health providers? And anything you want to make sure we document.

Anonymous M.D.: I don’t know that it would necessarily get lost in these narratives but I think with everything going on, it sometimes gets overlooked, is just the fact that abortion providers are trying to help people and trying to provide good care. Our sole goal is not trying to subvert the law or to harm anyone, but it really is to provide good health care, which is why we all became doctors in the first place. And so I think that sometimes is lost amidst all of this, is that the reason we do it (provide abortions) is to take care of the women that are in front of us and not for some ulterior motive
