Dr. Beverly Gray: Do the orthopedic surgeons have to deal with that? No. They’re thinking about their golf game or whatever. It’s these micro-stresses that are constant. So it’s like, do this interview, deal with this person who doesn’t want you to provide care in the system, oh we got this negative feedback about this interview, oh now we’re going to have to think about training trainees in another state, can you make the paperwork for that to happen, can you do that? It’s just this constant barrage of stuff and you don’t have any time for creative thinking, you don’t have any time to really focus on the things you care about. There’s no beauty in the day except this.
