Sally Howland: Well, another off shoot of the SB-20 was we had to move our location. We had been in the Duke clinic, where we had been since 08, smushed in this tiny little room. But because of the laws, we had to move within the hospital proper to be able to provide the surgical abortions. Now, as I understood it, we could’ve seen a woman in the clinic for, let’s say, an 8 week management of a miscarriage, but we could not see that woman in the clinic for an 8 week surgical termination. Exact same procedure, different indication. So again, there was no basis for that, they were just making access to abortion more challenging. In that short period of time, Dr. Swartz and Dr. Gray were able to find an empty clinic on the 4th floor of the hospital and so very quickly we packed up and moved into the clinic on the 4th floor of the hospital. […] it was stressful trying to make sure we were addressing all the regulations to be in the hospital (inaudible) hospital management and doing it in a very short period of time. I believe we only had a month to be able to make all those adjustments.
