Dr. Clayton Alfonso: So someone can come into my office with a positive pregnancy test, and I don’t shy away from asking them, “How do you feel about that? What is the trajectory you want?” [so] that they don’t feel that that’s otherized, right? So I might care for them for an annual exam, I might give them contraception, then they may have a successful pregnancy with me. I deliver their baby and then they come in and have an incidental pregnancy that they’re not ready for. And I don’t send them to a different provider. They know me, they have a relationship with me. And so I love that I help allow them to– you can come to me for full-scope OBGYN care. So I think that’s very powerful.
