- Learn/Talk about Crisis Pregnancy Centers and share that video. Fake women’s health centers, also known as crisis pregnancy centers or CPCs, are anti-abortion counseling centers that often use deceptive advertising practices to lure in people facing unplanned pregnancies. These fake clinics are unlicensed and unregulated by the state and often give out false medical information and biased counseling under the guise of being a real healthcare provider. There are more than 4,000 fake health centers across the country. In at least 12 states, fake health centers receive direct state funding to mislead women. State government support for these anti-abortion care organizations creates the false impression that fake health centers are part of the mainstream medical community. They are not. Learn more here.
