Dr. Katherine Farris: I think at Planned Parenthood we’re still able to fully fund the cost of the abortion and sedation if it’s involved, for patients who have a need, but I know some of the independent clinics cannot, and then patients are having to come up with that money. I don’t know that they’re turning people away. I know that everyone’s goal is to not turn anyone away. But it is harder and I don’t know that there’s as much funding to pay for gas cards, or Visa cash cards that people can use for gas, or babysitter, or food, for hotels. Because it’s not just the abortion, right? It’s all the things to get here for the abortion.
