Dr. Phil Darney: We’ve made it clear that abortion is health care like any other kind of health care, and providing abortions is the right thing to do, and the respectable thing to do. And I think that attitude prevails all over the country now, when it might’ve been much more regional certainly prior to Roe and in the years after. But after Dobbs, it’s clear that at least in terms of academic institutions all around the country, they want to provide the best care they can for their patients and don’t judge that abortion is ugly. The stigma has really decreased over the years, particularly post-Dobbs.
