Maddiy Segal

maddiy.segal@duke.edu

Third Year Ph.D. Candidate (2022 - Present)

Maddiy is primarily investigating the additive manufacturing of intestinal and vascular bioresorbable stents. She is also developing new crosslinkers to use in polymeric 3D printing. With a background in Biomedical Engineering and a current pursuit of a PhD in Mechanical Engineering & Materials Science, Maddiy joined the Becker Lab to pursue her passion for engineering in the medical field.

In her free time, Maddiy enjoys training her golden retriver Jax and making homemade icecream.
