Adrian Camarena

Adrian is working on targeted therapeutic delivery utilizing stereo-complexed hydrogel microparticles to mediate inflammation and promote tissue regeneration in the setting of traumatic injury. He has his B.S. in Neuroscience from the University of Southern California (2013) and M.D. from the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine (2021).  He is currently completing his General Surgery residency at Duke and plans to specialize in Trauma and Critical Care. During his free time, Adrian enjoys spending time with his wife and dog Luke hiking, camping, and visiting National Parks (25 and counting!)
