Today Rebecca received a call from a new oncology patient whose case was somewhat severe, and he expressed that he was expecting a new baby at the EOY and would like to be around to be part of that. Becca, being the compassionate and caring individual she is, shared this with Cheryl (Hart) and me. His appointment was scheduled out a bit and we decided that we can do better for this patient. So we banded together, and with quick thinking and some schedule adjustments we were able to get the patient in within the week. It’s moments like these that I am reminded of how awesome we are as individuals and as a team. Today was a feel good and rewarding day. I really love working with these women.
