His leadership exemplifies the core values forged through military service: discipline, integrity, courage, and selfless dedication. All of which he demonstrates daily in his role as Duke University Police’s Healthcare Leader at Duke Raleigh Hospital.
What stands out most about Capt. Linton is unwavering in his commitment to the mission of creating a safe, healing environment for our caregivers, patients, and visitors. He approaches every challenge with calm confidence and a solutions-oriented mindset, often going the extra mile to ensure that safety concerns are addressed swiftly and effectively. His ability to blend tactical readiness with compassion has directly contributed to our caregivers feeling safer and more supported at work, allowing them to focus entirely on providing excellent patient care without fear or distraction.
