Jamie is the best grants manager our team has worked with at Duke. He always approaches his work with a friendly, upbeat attitude even when we come to him with tough questions or deadlines. He is so professional and constantly goes above and beyond to make it easier for our team to accomplish our goals. When I came to Jamie and told him we had 3 weeks to put together a $4 million grant proposal he didn’t even bat an eye. He made sure we had the necessary tools to put everything together efficiently and successfully submit on time without late routing. There are so many individuals at Duke operating behind the scenes to make it possible for us (or any team) to accomplish our research goals, and these people rarely get recognized. But without Jamie I can honestly say that our program would not be as successful.
