I am proud to recognize Anna Mullis for her outstanding leadership and dedication to our department. Anna devotes countless hours to caring for patients, chairing the BIELD Committee, leading with enthusiasm, kindness, thoughtfulness, and a genuine commitment to excellence. I also send the warmest congratulations to Anna on her acceptance into a highly selective, advanced workshop on Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS), led by Dr. Edythe Strand, an internationally recognized expert in the field. The workshop, held at San Diego State University on October 24–25, accepts only 50 clinicians nationwide, which is a true testament to Anna’s exceptional skill and passion toward pediatric speech care. Anna’s commitment to her patients, their families, colleagues, and the profession as a whole is truly special and deserves to be recognized. We are so fortunate to have her as part of our Duke team!
