Ms. Arlene is first and foremost, kind and helpful whenever I see her. She will always offer her help and services to get blood from a difficult stick, she is accommodating to patients and colleagues. When I see she’s on the floor that I am on that morning, I don’t worry about being able to get labs on my patients or that I’ll hear from families about a difficult experience.

This example is one of many. Recently we had a 2 month old baby that needed a lot of labs as part of an important work up. Generally patients this age wind up needing VAT/IV team to be called, which typically takes a long time. She did not hesitate to help and offered to look for possible sites, and then got 6 mL of blood work in one try! She is amazing at her job from a technical standpoint and her demeanor is positive with a can-do/I’ll give it a try attitude that is refreshing and honestly, a relief.
