Whenever a patient is potentially or known to be a “hard stick”, both patient families and CHC staff alike know we can depend on Miss Arlene to assess our patients’ veins and 9.5 times out of 10 get the labs in ONE try. There have been times when she has come from another floor or stayed later to look at a kid’s veins for us! We depend on her SO much to facilitate lab work with our pediatric patients and she makes it so much easier for our team, patients and their parents! She’s irreplaceable!
