Lauren has been the backbone of the Duke Living Donor Program for a decade. She goes above and beyond for the staff, the transplant team, and most of all, the patients. Lauren has been proactive in her role as a living donor coordinator by going beyond – she volunteers to do outreach, participating in community programs to support living donation, and has a special way of brightening up a room when patients and providers need it most. Patients and family members love her and her warmth. She has dedicated her career to living donation and the Duke Transplant Center. Her leadership, dedication, resilience, knowledge, and passion are just a few of the many attributes that make her an amazing individual and colleague. She is one of the reasons why we are successful today. We congratulate her on her upcoming promotion as Nurse Manager at our Transplant Center!
