Rendition of planned El Futuro office at Lakewood
Durham-based Behavioral Health Agency El Futuro has announced that it will move to Lakewood Shopping Center in 2018.
The new location will have 40% more space and clients will have easier access with additional parking.
El Futuro is currently doing a fundraising campaign to help with the upcoming move.
El Futuro is a behavioral health agency that provides bilingual and culturally informed behavioral health treatment for underserved Spanish speaking individuals and families. The agency provides high impact clinical services; 2) trains professionals who work with the Hispanic population; and 3) conducts prevention, education and outreach in the community.
Lakewood Shopping Center is also the home of El Centro Hispano, HELP (Health Equipment Loan Program), Scrap Exchange and others.
