Tours take place on the first day of the Symposium.

In the morning, we will offer a tour of Hunt Library at North Carolina State University. You must pre-register for this tour by indicating on the Registration form that you plan to attend; transportation will be provided to NCSU and back to Duke.

The weather will be hot – if you are opting for touring the Gardens or the Chapel, please dress comfortably and bring a refillable water bottle.

Tours will continue Thursday afternoon – please refer to the schedule for details.

• Tour of Duke Chapel, including a possible Chapel Tower Climb (a Duke tradition!)
  • Note that the Tower Climb is capped at 10 attendees, but you can also choose just to tour the Chapel.
• Tour of Duke Gardens, Duke’s world-class public gardens just steps from the library
• Tours of Perkins/Bostock & Rubenstein, Duke’s main library complex
