I am the Ernestine Friedl Professor of Political Science in the Department of Political Science and Senior Associate Dean for Faculty Affairs at Duke University.
My research focuses on political institutions. I am particularly interested in judicial, constitutional, and legislative politics and in coalition theory. I teach courses on political institutions, formal modeling, and judicial/constitutional politics.
