The Duke Game Lab is a new collaborative initiative which seeks to strengthen the curriculum of undergraduate education in a University-led exploration of the role of gaming in the future of academia. This dedicated space (Link Classroom 6) is to be the University community’s touchpoint and facilitator for all pursuits related to the expansive world of gaming. Along with a physical space for gaming and teaching equipped with top-of-the-line gaming PCs and the latest consoles, the Game Lab will support courses, talks, and training related to games and pedagogy, as well as games as a cultural product and games as an analytical tool. Faculty and students across the university are invited to attend events throughout the academic year, but we invite you to please reach out to the entire University community supporting this initiative with all questions, proposals, and feedback related to your own interests in the world of gaming.
