Business for good
About SBSI
The Sustainable Business & Social Impact (SBSI) conference is hosted by the Net Impact Club at Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business. It is the largest event of its kind in the Southeast and the largest student-led conference at Fuqua. The event explores rapidly evolving opportunities in the fields of social impact and sustainability to bring positive and sustainable change. Each year, the conference brings together hundreds of attendees and speakers from the public, private, and social sectors to discuss innovative business models, collaborations and partnerships, and ideas that are creating lasting impact around the world.
Past keynote speakers include Jacqueline Novogratz of Acumen, Nicole Lindsay of Mastercard, Rose Marcario (formerly now) of Patagonia, Jean Case of the Case Foundation, U.S. Secretary of Labor Tom Perez, Seth Goldman (formerly now) of Honest Tea, among many others. The conference plays a critical role in engaging, influencing, and educating the next generation of business leaders for good.
Fuqua’s Net Impact Club partners each year with the Center for the Advancement of Social Entrepreneurship (CASE) and the Center for Energy, Development, and the Global Environment (EDGE) to host the conference.
