Each year, BBSA hosts several professional, academic, and social events for current members of the Fuqua community as well as prospective students.
Kick-off Event
Thrown at the beginning of each academic year by second year students, this event–a BBQ or brunch–welcomes the newest members of the BBSA community to campus
BBSA Retreat
Each fall, BBSA members travel off campus for an overnight retreat to bond, discuss personal and collective goals for the year, and build community
MBA Workshop
Co-hosted by BBSA and American Latinx Management Association (ALMA), Duke’s MBA Workshop gives prospective students the chance to experience class visits, networking events, admissions info sessions while connecting with current students and alumni.
Additionally, BBSA organizes an annual conference, Black History Month celebration at Fuqua Friday, and more!
