Kylie Dimond, BS
Research Technician
Kylie was born in North Carolina and raised in New Hampshire before venturing to Texas. She graduated from Baylor University in May 2022, earning a degree in Neuroscience. There she studied behavioral deficits resulting from epilepsy in Dr. Joaquin Lugo’s lab. Shortly after she joined the Eroglu Lab as a Research Technician. She currently investigates astrocyte dysfunction in neurodegenerative disorders with Shiyi Wang and the role of Hevin in astrocyte-mediated synapse refinement with Dhanesh Bindu. She plans to pursue a PhD in Neuroscience. Outside the lab, Kylie enjoys hiking, baking, reading, and spending time with her family, friends, and cats.
