Enrique earned his Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Neuroscience from Florida State University. As an undergraduate research technician in the Wilber Lab, he led a project investigating visuospatial memory and the role of path integration in spatial memory, with a particular focus on the transformation between allocentric (environmental) and egocentric (self-referential) frames of reference in transgenic TgF344-AD rats. In 2025, Enrique joined the Eroglu Lab as a research technician, where he studies cell-adhesion molecules in the context of astrocyte development and maturation, under the mentorship of Dr. Kristina Sakers and graduate student Justin Savage. Outside of the lab, Enrique enjoys playing soccer, listening to music, and exploring history.
