Genna St. Armour

Genna earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from Coastal Carolina University and a Master’s Degree in Neuroscience from Brandeis University.  She worked as a research technician for Dr. Robert Anholt at North Carolina State University where her primary roles were running behavior assays using Drosophila and collecting and preparing samples for Next Gen Sequencing.  She then joined Dr. Heather Patisaul’s lab as a technician at North Carolina State University and later as a biologist at the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS) where her role involved investigating the effects of endocrine disruptors on the developing brain and placenta using rats and prairie voles, analyzing the neurotoxic effects of metals and pesticides on wild field mice, as well as training/mentoring and general operations.  She brings this experience to the Eroglu lab in 2025 as Lab Manager to facilitate research and operations within the group. Outside of the lab, she enjoys spending time with her husband and kids.
