About Supergirl
Supergirl is a TV show that premiered on CBS on October 26, 2015. The show followed the DC Comic book character Supergirl, also known as Kara Zor-El and Kara Danvers. When Krypton exploded, her parents sent her to Earth to protect her infant cousin, Kal-El, but her spacecraft was knocked off course and sent into the Phantom Zone, where she stayed in stasis for 24 years. After landing on Earth, she keeps her powers a secret for 12 years until she finally embraces her powers and becomes Supergirl. Each season had a different overarching storyline, but every season relied on the friendship of the Superfriends and the sisterhood of Alex and Kara. The show’s final episode aired on November 9, 2021.
