Bryce Gessell is a University Scholar pursuing his PhD in Philosophy at Duke. Recently, Duke Today profiled Bryce’s efforts translating 18th century French philosopher Émilie du Châtelet’s work from French to English as part of the Project Vox initiative, which promotes the refound work of female philosophers.
