Fundamentals 2015: Discovery

Discovery determines where we begin. This sub-theme of the Fundamentals symposium asks: What are the basic building blocks of our universe, our knowledge, and how do we identify them? What are the methods and frameworks which guide our discovery? How do we ask the questions that get to the bottom of the knowledge we seek? This group encompasses ideas from philosophy, statistics, physics, and metaphysics. Is our desire for discovery a fundamental of human nature?
